Al,
Thanks so much for guiding me on the finest fishing trip I've ever been on!
Your insight and expertise were invaluable.
You
bring your considerable skills as a teacher to the river. I learned an
incredible amount about how to read the water, where to look for trout, how
to cast depending on the conditions of the river,
and what flies to use when fishing.
You were patient, clear, and perfectly good-natured in all your suggestions
and instructions. As a novice fly
fisherman, I honestly couldn't ask for
a better guide! Given your expertise and your vast knowledge of the
local area, though, I'm sure folks both experienced and new to fly fishing
would benefit immensely from fishing with you.
Also, thanks so much for your help in catching my first brown trout.
That was an incredible experience.
I can't wait to come back to fish with you in the Adirondacks!
Sincerely,
Jud

Al,
Hey thanks again for taking us fishing. I had
a great time and learned a lot. This was the first time (fly fishing) I
actually had a trout on my line. For
jackasses like me, fly fishing can be a bit
overwhelming/intimidating due to all the gear, fly choices, casting,
knowing where/when to fish, etc.
Anyways, you do a great job on making fly
fishing more accessible to
attention-span/patience challenged
people such as my self. later....
